| | Model of the car: | Neon | | | General comments: | My 2001 Dodge Neon is my 3rd. Neon that I have owned. I love the 2nd. generation neon styling. The neon drives and handles better due to a newer tuned suspension as compared to the 1st. generation neon. It is quieter than the my 1995 neon. My 1995 neon as well as my 1999 neon were both driven hard on the interstate (2000 miles round trip) from Jacksonville, Fl. to St. Louis, Mo. several times. In a nutshell my 2001 Dodge Neon has a sporty look, a smooth but somewhat firm ride, a great sounding stereo and its a lot of car for the money! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | In both my 1995 and 1999 neons the batteries from the factory never lived to be over 2.5 years old. Sorry to some of you other neon owners I fortunately have never experience bad head gaskets or anything else for that matter.
