| | Model of the car: | Dodge Neon | | | General comments: | I just don't trust this car. I have a terrible gut feeling that I bought a car that is going to be causing me headaches down the road. I don't like all the weird sounds and am seriously considering trading it in on an import...the thing that sucks though is that the Kelly blue book value shows that the thing is only worth slightly over 8K...which means I owe a lot more than it's worth | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | The car SHOCKS me everytime I get out of it. It is very difficult to see out the back window when backing up. Clunks and is hard to get in reverse when parked on a hill (not steep). Car almost grinds to a halt if you turn on the AC while driving. Car is extremely "whiney" especially when turning the steering wheel. Rattles when going uphill, even if I downshift to a lower gear (5 speed) | | | Previous car: | Last car was a Saturn. Had it for 8 years. Ran like a charm. I loved that car. |
