| | Model of the car: | Dodge Neon | | | General comments: | When my dad bought me this second hand car, I thought it was ok comparing it to the ford focus as a second choice. At that time I didn't know much about car and I thought this car was like a sporty one because dodge also make the viper... however when times goes on, I'm starting to like car stuff on how to souped it up and car stereos as well and nowadays I can consider myself a true avid knowledgeable person in those two topics. Im planning to sell this car pretty soon meanwhile I have done some modifications to it so it looks nice and performe good as well. I've added an aftermarket exhaust system, hooked up a $ 800 dollars in kicker car stereo system, hyper white fog lights and high beans, sticker all around, sport seats covers, air freshener in each compartment, neon tube in front makes it looks really look and others. As far as the car itself it really sucks as a whole, the engine is too tight you can barely insert a finger in it, I was trying to install a intake but my personal mechanic told me it wont work on this car which really sucks ! And that's the bottom line. I'm planning to buy a Honda Accord, prelude, acura integra, grand prix, or firebord or sunfire, those are my questions I can afford right now. Later on why not a viper ? | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Brake performance! too noisy everytime I brake, the moffler just sucksss! the rear part is a little way up comparing it to the front part so it makes it difficult to see behind ya ( if applicabe when no using rear mirror )poor acceleration if its 3 automatic speed, uneven shocks as time goes on and many more. Dashboard too plain no style at all! | | | Previous car: | I have no idea, I dont recomend no one to get a neon unless you can't afford other car, neon is really a very cheat car so under that situation you might know what I mean |
