| | Model of the car: | Dodge Neon | | | General comments: | I have a white 1998 Dodge Neon 4-door. I absolutely love it and couldn't have asked for a better first car. Yes, I did have to replace the head gasket at 55,000 miles, but the cost was almost nothing. The brakes are squeaky, but i have also heard of several honda civic's with the same problem. I have had no peeling paint on my neon, and no rattles or squeaks on the inside. Maybe the reason I have had no problems with my neon, other than the head gasket, is the fact that it is very well taken care of. The oil has been changed every three thousand miles and I don't treat it like a " cheap economical car." I would highly recommend this car to anyone. The key to not having a bad neon is to just take care of it.
