| | Model of the car: | 4door Dodge Neon | | | General comments: | My neon was a salavaged vehical. So all of the horrible problems I encounterd were not under warrenty and came out of my pocket. The car only had 30,000 miles on it when I first got it. It now has 41,000. At 40000 the head gasket went and also it needed a new exhaust manafold, that total bill was $1100. Then about 3 months later the timing belt went which caused the pistons to bend all 4 valves. This was a major operation that cost me $1500 AND without a car for 2 weeks. So the money I saved on buying a salvaged vehical went right back into a new engine and everything else wrong.
