| | Model of the car: | Dodge | | | General comments: | To start of talking about the Neon; let me tell you that I have researched it quite a bit. It seems that there are some out there with alot of problems. This doesn't matter to me and I'll tell you why later. One of these problems is the head gasket leaking. One is the AC. There are various other promblems too. Some people report no problems. I wonder if this has to do with the ones manufactored in Mexico and the ones made in Michigan? To find out where it is made just look at the 11th digit of the VIN#. If it is a "T" it is made in Mexico.
The reason the main problems don't matter to me is because. I plan to replace the whole engine with a 2.4 liter pt cruiser engine. You can get one of these used with low milage rather cheap and the conversion kit with the engine mounts is very cheap. The price for all of this is probally around what you would pay to have the engine rebuilt.
