| | Model of the car: | ,, And Neons | | | General comments: | I purchased each of these cars as rental returns for my children when they became seniors in high school. Paid $9500 each and the local dealer went through them and brought them all up to snuff. Other than the head gaskts (mentioned above) the only problems have been brake pads at 68,000 in one, tires at 55,000 for all, one battery, one AC seal ($35 including coolant), and a cruise control repair in one (not an ethical dealer). Considering they are all being driven by teenagers in high school and college, they are the best cars I have ever owned. I would strongly recommend them for anyone looking for economical and reliable transportation for themselves or their children. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Front seats are a little low for long trips and getting in and out of the cars. All needed head gaskets which were totally covered by Chrysler with no hastles whatsoever. | | | Previous car: | Tempo. Beats it hands down. |
