| | Model of the car: | Sport | | | General comments: | This is one of the most fun cars out there, and the first year, though not as refined as later models, has a more lively engine. The stick is the way to go, giving you 0-60 times of under 8 seconds (compared with Civic EX at well over 9), as well as over-30 mpg gas mileage. The three-speed automatic (replaced by a four-speed in 2001 or 2002) makes the acceleration average; the stick keeps it fun. Handling is great, easily beating most cars in this class, and the general feel is exciting and fun. Yet, interior space is quite good - similar to the "mid sized" Dodge Stratus (though a bit smaller than the second generation Neons).
