| | Model of the car: | Dodge Neon | | | General comments: | I sort of have a love-hate relationship with my 1995 neon. Mostly it's hate. I feel love when everything works fine, even if it's only for a few days. I have had significant problems with this car so anyone buying a used vehicle be prepared. I have had almost every gasket leak.....unfortunately all after the 3 year warranty period. The only gasket still intact is the oil pan gasket. The repairs have all been fairly major and so have end up costing quite a bit of money (~3000cdn). The suspension has broken 3 different times (strut failure). There have been quite a few other problems: loose motor mounts, loose driveaxle nut, exhaust donut failure, egr system malfunction, fuel injector problems, instrument cluster failure.......there's probably a whole lot more but i forget.
Now, for the good side.....when everything is working it can be a fun car to drive.
