| | Model of the car: | DODGE NEON | | | General comments: | My experience has been that once you drive off the lot, dealers no longer want to see you, they just want to put you on to Chrysler Canada(GREAT!!!).When the front lip rusted off my hood, I was told that my rust warranty didn't cover it because the rust had worked its way from the inside.(WHAT IS THAT??) Six months later, large patches of paint began to peel from my roof and trunk. This time I was told that although hundreds of other models of the same year and colour(blue) had the same problem, I was basically s#@t out of luck.If anyone has found some resolution to this problem please e-mail me at pcritch@firstcity.net | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Where do I start?!!!- Head Gasket(of course)- Numerous sensors(oxygen, crank)- Transmission kick-down adjustment every 6 months- Leaky trunk and tail lights- Front lip of bonnet rusted off @ three years- Severe paint peeling on roof and trunk- Trunk lock assembly seized ( replaced twice )- Fuel guage malfunctionetc | | | Previous car: | - My 1985 Toyota Tercel with 350k was a better car!!! |
